We take the utmost care and pride in our educational toys from conception to production. This care extends to Thailand's natural well being, which we hope to preserve for our children. All of our packaging is made from recycled paper. Our products are environmentally friendly, made from the choicest woods, including rubber wood taken exclusively from sustainable plantations in the Southern region of Thailand, so we do not contribute to Thailand's devastating deforestation. We use wood because our toys promote learning through the child's tactile engagement with the toys, and we want them to experience the natural touch.
The Feel of Wood: At a time when most toys are synthetic, "One to Ten Toy" provides a natural alternative, with toys whose nice, wooden surfaces are pleasing to children. Wood provides a texture which plastic or metal toys lack. Thai Rubber Wood (mai yang) is famous for its velvety quality, providing a richness that allows children to see with their hands.
At "One to Ten Toys" our top priorities are safety, and your child's development. Therefore, we use no toxic paints, and made sure our products conform to international standards, EN71, ASTM963, and TIS. We also explored how various proven educational theories can be effectively applied to in-hand toys.
